Suntrace contributed to the Huatacondo project in Chile as owners engineer and acted on behalf of SunEQ as mandated developer.

The Huatacondo Project of 98MW in Chile has been successfully sold by the developer Austrian Solar, buyer is a consortium of the Japanese companies Soijitz and Shikoku Electric Power together with the French Eiffage.

Suntrace acted as owners engineer for Austrian Solar in the tendering of EPC and O&M contracts for the Huatacondo project. This included technical specifications, prequalification of bidders and selection of preferred bidder based on a full and binding proposal. Suntrace worked in a consortium with 8.2 Obst & Ziehmann Ingeniergesellschaft and Chilean Consultancy LAER in Valparaiso.

In the 5 MW ac PV solar power supply for Ohorongo Cement in Namiba, Suntrace acted on behalf of SunEQ GmbH as a mandated developer, providing services such as technical design and specification, PPA and other contractual negotiations. Actually, Suntrace is working on the financial structuring and placement.
