Martin is co-founder and managing director of Suntrace since 2010. He is responsible for the engineering and project management aspects of Suntrace advisory work, and has supported projects across most continents. He is acknowledged expert for both PV and CSP, is board member of the German CSP industry association and lecturer at Hamburg Technical University TUHH.
Prior to Suntrace, Martin managed the CSP and PV project development team of Epuron /Conergy being responsible for a CSP project pipeline of over 350 MW capacity and a PV project pipeline of > 100 MW.
Martin has worked for 10 years with thermal power company STEAG, Germany's largest independent power producer. He was involved in different roles in engineering, development, construction and operation of > 1200 MW thermal power projects in Europe, South East Asia and the USA.
Martin holds a master´s degree in mechanical engineering of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany. He is German native speaker, fluent in English and has some command of Spanish and French.
